Bible Training

Ethnos Bible Training

For believers who want to be grounded in God’s Word before serving in ministry—whether overseas or in their local church—there is now a new opportunity.

Through a new partnership with Ethnos360 Bible Institute (EBI), Ethnos Canada is offering EBI’s one-year online Biblical Studies Certificate in a unique way: students complete their coursework while living in community on the Ethnos Canada campus in Durham, Ontario. Along with rigorous Bible study, students benefit from discipleship and life alongside experienced missionaries.

Although this program is now being launched formally, it has already proven its value through a pilot program.

Hailing from PEI, Jadon and Bayley Abriel were among the first participants. After visiting the Ethnos Canada campus in 2021, they gained a clearer understanding of God’s heart for the unreached. Over the next two years, they prayed with their church before leaving their jobs to pursue Bible training and missionary preparation. Living on the Durham campus gave them the opportunity to focus on God’s Word, receive intentional discipleship, and prepare as a family for ministry. Today, they are pursuing church planting in Mexico with their children.

Looking back, they say the greatest benefit wasn’t simply completing courses—it was the relationships. “We were stretched and challenged, and we can see how much we grew. Learning how to study the Bible well is something we’ll use for the rest of our lives.”

If you’re at least 18 years old, eager to grow in your understanding of Scripture, and open to wherever God may lead you, Ethnos Bible Training provides a strong biblical foundation for a lifetime of ministry.
