Equipping for
Cross-cultural
Church Planting

Why Training?

Two thousand years ago, Jesus told His followers to, “Go and make disciples of all the nations.”

More than 6,000 of the world’s people groups are still unreached today. Whether isolated by geography, cultural and linguistic barriers or hostility to the message of Christ, God’s heart is for these people to know and worship Him in truth. How will they hear without Christ’s disciples going to them?

Ethnos Canada’s training program seeks to assist the local church in preparing these disciples to shine the light of Jesus as cross-cultural church planters. Planting churches in difficult regions of the world means a good understanding of our desperate daily need of the Lord, and cling to the promises of His Word. Disciple-making is not able to be accomplished without Christ’s help, the prayer support of the Body, personal commitment, and hard work.

Each person studying in this program is immersed in the Word of God, discovering what it means to be a disciple. They are challenged by teachers who have practiced walking with the Lord, some of them having lived in a cross-cultural setting.

The training is much more than just a classroom setting – it is about learning to be a disciple.

For more than 55 years, we’ve been helping equip people just like you for life and missions.
